Bible Dictionary Collections App Reviews

I searched "Chemosh" and no matter what dictionary I selected, it had the exact same text. I deleted it from my iPhone. Maybe somebody else can figure how to use this app and post a positive review.

I have tried to switch between the different dictionaries but it will only give me definitions for ISBE. I have removed the app and re installed it with no difference. Very disappointed.

It has the full bible which is great, but the dictionary feature is the real reason for getting it. Its excellent, with detail only found in huge bible dictionaries, and is very easy to use! Im thrilled with the purchase.

I love the study helps, because it helps me move easily around my topics of interest to gain greater understanding of the text.

Thanks for a great app to augment my studies. Additions: add ESV, save current Chapter/Verse to be returned too

Let me start off by saying that this app only cost .99! You get a full bible and 7 dictionaries. Great when you want to look up those details that make up a great preaching. If you look to see how much a actual dictionary cost youll find that its at least $50 for a good one. I really enjoy this app.

Just buy this you cant go wrong if youre a Christian that love studying the word of God.

I was looking forward to this app because of the built in dictionaries which I needed to study the bible with. However, the app doesnt bookmark ur last place where u read. Everytime u set up the size of the font and the theme of the app, it doesnt save it for next time. So everytime I close it and come back later to it I have to start all over again. The bible reverts back to genesis and its standard settings. Im truly disappointed because i thought this had so much potential.

I hate to be this guy but it does not work well at all. It jumps to words that you never put in. It is all over the place.

Updates today fixed all the bug issues! This app works great now. Thank you development team!

Just the Isbd alone would be worth it but you get 7 great dictionaries. I highly recommend this set.

Finally deleted this after much frustration. Should include the New King James Version, main gripe has been stated by others. Cant get it to do a simple search on Mephibosheth; keeps pulling up Merchandise. This is the latest, and the "straw that . . . ", but similar problems plagued me continually.

I was looking up the info David and it only had a forth of the information available in the the body as it did in the contents section? What the heck?

i really like the vast quantity available in this app, but the user interface is not extremely intuitive. definately a good deal, but it could use some polishing.

The concept behind this application is inspiring. However, the developers made the app look old and bit cumbersome. For instance, The use of the wheel to change Bibles is outdated. Going back to a previous search is a hit and miss undertaking. Olive Tree, on the other hand, takes the same concept and creates fresh looking and user friendly apps. Once this app is updated correctly, it will be one of the best Bible study software out there.

I would have loved to give this app a 4-5 star rating, but it could use some work: 1) There is no rotation feature which is very important since this is an iPhone, iPad app 2) No memory feature once you leave the app you have to start all over again. We are using apple products that do not multi task, so this is very cumbersome 3) It would be nice to be able to select your dictionary of preference then be able to choose the others as you would like. Again, this is an app that has the potential to be a 5 star, but needs some attention.

This is a must have for biblical study I wish they would add the vines buy this app!!!!!!!!!!!. If possible please add the vines.

I would give it a 5 star, but ever since IOs 5, this application isnt working properly. I am only able to view one dictionary. I re-installed the application and still have the same problem. Also, get rid of the wheel. It is outdated.
